SAP S/4 Basis Administrator

Description:

Lead and implement technical SAP solutions, ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented system configurations, integrations, and security standards. This role involves administering SAP ECC on HANA systems and associated components, as well as managing SAP BTP services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining highly available and stable SAP systems, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring system reliability during critical operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall coordination for batch job scheduling including the development and administration of batch standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Plan and Prepare SAP Implementation, Upgrade and Support projects.
  • Understand the requirements for Add-ons and work with Teams.
  • Maintenance of SAP Application servers.
  • Movement of SAP applications to VM.
  • Assist in leading the teams for ongoing projects and Landscape.
  • Understanding of SAP RISE
  • Administer, monitor, and support SAP systems including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BI, IS solutions, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Hands On knowledge of BTP and related Cloud Admin experience (CloudALM, Cloud Connector, IAS, IDP, SSO, CTM etc.),
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and private-equity security standards.
  • Monitor vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation, and support audits.
  • Support multiple third-party integrations (APIs, middleware, interfaces).
  • Work closely with SAP Integration Suite, CPI, PI/PO (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Provide incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 Years of SAP basis administration experience.
  • Expertise in a broad range of SAP Products like ECC, S/4, Fiori
  • Expertise in installation, upgrades and patching of SAP applications.
  • Expertise in SAP Performance tuning, SAP memory management and application configuration.
  • Expertise in SAP Java stack administration, installations, upgrades and performance tuning.
  • Experienced in working with SAP and other vendors to resolve escalated production issues In depth understanding of SAP technical architecture and best practices
  • Experience with RISE with SAP deployments and operations is ideal.
  • Deep understanding of SAP security, authorizations, and compliance.
  • Experience supporting BW, BI, SAC, and industry-specific SAP solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of system integrations and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments is ideal.
  • Knowledge of Azure security, networking, and identity management. (Or any other Hyperscsaler)
  • Familiarity with DevOps, automation, and monitoring tools.
  • SAP certifications (BASIS, HANA, BTP, or Cloud) are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
