Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Vendor & Contract Management, the Senior Analyst, Vendor & Contract Management supports the contract lifecycle management process and provides administrative, and analytics support to senior team members. The Senior Analyst will apply their expertise to support contract drafting, build strong relationship with stakeholders, create negotiation plans and manage supplier performance to ensure we appropriately manage third party risks and align commercial contract terms with business requirements. The Senior Analyst is an integral part of the effective and efficient delivery of products and services for various categories of supply and will collaborate and communicate with both corporate and technical teams.
Remote, On-Site in Victoria, BC or Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract lifecycle for staff augmentation, professional services, software, data, and managed services.
  • Improve document repository quality and support project/contract close‑out.
  • Conduct assessments such as market scans, surveys, research, benchmarking, and data review.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to capture contracting needs.
  • Act as commercial SME for contracting activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in contracting and supply activities.
  • Lead or support negotiations ethically and efficiently.
  • Track cost savings, cost avoidance, and procurement benefits.
  • Develop supplier profiles and maintain vendor documentation.
  • Prepare briefs and presentations for leadership.
  • Align contract administration with vendor management and procurement procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline—or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years progressive experience in contract lifecycle management, strategic sourcing, and category management.
  • 3+ years experience managing technology-related agreements.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of contract structure and documentation best practices.
  • Exposure to source‑to‑contract systems (Workday Strategic Sourcing, Ariba, Coupa, etc.).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
