Role Summary

You will lead and oversee day-to-day operations across accommodations, food & beverage, retail, cultural programming, events and facilities. Partnering closely with the CEO, you'll ensure operational excellence, drive business growth, uphold Métis cultural protocols and build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all operational areas (24/7 hospitality, program delivery, facility management)
  • Embed Métis cultural values into guest experience and organizational practices
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic business development and partnerships
  • Manage budgets, procurement, vendor relations and process standardization
  • Champion health, safety and risk-management practices
  • Collaborate with HR on staffing, training, succession planning and culture development
  • Serve as a representative of Métis Crossing at community and industry forums

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in senior operations leadership in tourism, hospitality or cultural sectors
  • Strong track-record in business development, revenue growth and multi-department operations
  • Bachelor's (or MBA) in Business or related field
  • Leadership aligned with Indigenous cultural values and a commitment to community engagement
