Your Role as a Service Leader

As the Beaconsfield Service Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our combined early years and out‑of‑school hours care service, ensuring the well‑being and development of every child. Leading a dedicated team of educators, you will maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and Thrive's policies while nurturing the close‑knit community spirit that makes Beaconsfield unique. Together, you'll create an inclusive environment where children are supported to explore, learn, and grow at every stage of their journey. 

About You

You are a collaborative and inspiring leader who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environments for all children. You bring professionalism, empathy, and vision to your work, supporting educators and families to thrive together.

You will bring:

  • A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification)

  • Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration

  • Proven experience leading teams and a strong understanding of child development

  • The ability to design and deliver inclusive programs that reflect the voices and interests of children and families

Your leadership will set the tone for excellence, modelling best practice in health and safety, communication, and educational guidance. With your support, our service will not only meet compliance requirements but also stand out as a trusted, inclusive, and innovative place for children, families, and the wider community.
