Duties

  • Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, equipment, and utensils to uphold food safety standards
  • Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring timely delivery of dishes for service periods
  • Handle food handling responsibilities with attention to proper storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures
  • Buss tables and clear dining areas efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations
  • Assist with banquet setups and catering events as needed, ensuring all food presentation meets standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure excellent customer service

Skills

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation practices
  • Experience in banquet service or hotel kitchens is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly within a team and interact positively with customers
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Passion for culinary arts and hospitality with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
