Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, equipment, and utensils to uphold food safety standards
- Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring timely delivery of dishes for service periods
- Handle food handling responsibilities with attention to proper storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures
- Buss tables and clear dining areas efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations
- Assist with banquet setups and catering events as needed, ensuring all food presentation meets standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure excellent customer service
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation practices
- Experience in banquet service or hotel kitchens is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly within a team and interact positively with customers
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
