Allied Health Professional Practice Lead – Mental Health and Wellness

Salary:
$99,899 - $111,652 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract
: Permanent

Hours:
8:30-4:30 (flexible/ core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location:
Park Royal, West Vancouver – on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

About The Role
As an Allied Health Professional Practice Lead, you will play a pivotal role in advancing team-based care models that reflect the vision and values of First Nations health service delivery. This role focuses on developing professional competencies across mental health and wellness disciplines, including Mental Health and Wellness Clinicians, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Substance Use Specialists by fostering culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and equity-oriented practices.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have/be;

Education
Master's degree in a clinical health profession (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Clinical Counselling), health administration, education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of seven 5 to 7 years of recent, related clinical experience inclusive of a minimum of one to two years' of experience in education, clinical leadership and/or operational experience in a complex health care environment including progressive clinical practice, education, research, and project management and leadership experiences.

Skills/ Knowledge
Strong understanding of allied health professional practice standards

In-depth knowledge of professional practice principles and collaborative

Multidisciplinary team dynamics.

Occupational Certification
Current full registration within a regulated field of allied health (e.g. Social Work, Occupational Therapy).

Registration in an allied health association (e.g. Clinical Counselling).

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred, or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
