Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst:

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst for a 12 month contract role . This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client's Mississauga office.

Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst - Job Description:

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level position focused on establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs. The role involves leading applications systems analysis and programming activities to enhance and deploy new products and process improvements.

Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst - Responsibilities:


• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals


• Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements


• Resolve high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes


• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint


• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation


• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary


• Assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst - Mandatory Skills:


• 8+ years of hands-on professional software development experience


• Proficiency in Java 8+, Angular or React


• Experience building RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring


• Experience with Oracle, SQL, NoSQL - MongoDB


• Experience with Cloud - Openshift Kubernetes, Messaging systems - MQ, Kafka


• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies


• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:


• Experience following TDD and clean code principles


• Cloud Solution architecture certification


• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst – Assignment Length:

This is a 12 month contract position.
