Wilsons Heating is looking for a Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team, working in the Kentville area.

Wilsons Heating specializes in custom heating solutions, providing service to thousands of home- and business owners in Atlantic Canada. With 30+ years in HVAC, and 110+ years providing comfort solutions Atlantic Canadians, you'll be joining a trusted team of experts who pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional client experience.

As the successful candidate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Driving a fuel truck on specified routes to make deliveries to homes and businesses
  • Processing delivery tickets
  • Maintaining the fuel truck
  • Liaising with dispatchers
  • Providing excellent customer service

Our next Propane Bulk Truck Driver will be someone who is:

  • Committed to safe work practices
  • Personable, professional, and able to give great customer service
  • Able to work well independently and with a team
  • A Strong multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment
  • A reliable self-starter
  • Comfortable with technology (email, using a tablet)

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • Class 3 Drivers License
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum of 3 Year Driving Experience
  • WHMIS & First Aid Certificates
  • Grade 12 Education
  • Propane Operator License (Bulk Truck) an asset
  • Committed to safe work practices
  • Personable and able to give great customer service
  • Can work well independently and with a team
  • Strong multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable self-starter
  • Able to lift weights above 20 pounds
  • Experience in home delivery an asset

Wilsons Company History

In 1909, Wilsons started a coal company to supply fuel to the buildings they built as well as others. As the business focus changed from construction to fuel, the present name of Wilson Fuel Co. Limited was adopted. Wilsons was the only Nova Scotia coal company to make the transition from coal to oil while remaining independent of multinational oil companies.

After dropping coal and adding propane and heating equipment, Wilsons is now established as a leading independent fuel oil and propane supplier in Nova Scotia. It has offices in Truro, Sackville, Bridgewater and Moncton.
