The Role
The Studio Photographer will be on-site during University photo sessions to photograph university students. This is a full time position based in Kingston, Ontario.
What You Will Focus On:
- Opening and closing the studio
- Meter photography lights and make adjustments where necessary
- Set up of photoshoot props such as gowns and graduation props
- Assist with the coordination of photo day at the University to ensure the sessions run efficiently
- Photograph University graduates inside the studio and outdoors
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
- Photography experience not required, but preferred
- Strong customer focus and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and deal with multiple and changing priorities
- Experience working with students is an asset
- Experience working in customer service is an asset
- Successful candidates require reliable car with the ability to carry photographic equipment
- As this position involves working with students, the successful applicants must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
