The School of Hospitality and Tourism (H&T) is hiring a full-time permanent Food Service Worker – Back of House.  This position will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchens, including cleaning dishes, cookware and utensils.  This role is essential to supporting our operational portfolio of world-class live-classroom venues and the culinary experiences portfolio (i.e. weddings; socials; corporate events; culinary experiences that may be similar to a team-building). The Food Service Workers ensure a safe, clean environment for food preparation and assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, making this a vital team position.

How you'll contribute
  • Cleaning of kitchen equipment, hand washing of dishes,  operating dishwasher and overall maintaining a high level of safety and sanitation standards
  • Deep cleaning of all equipment
  • Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods
  • Food preparation
  • Packaging of prepared foods, labeling & pricing
  • Assist with the opening and closing duties of the outlet
  • Assume related duties as required
