Ready to make a real impact on global health and wellness care?
Practice Better is an all-in-one platform helping health and wellness practitioners run their businesses, care for their clients, and scale their impact. Founded by practitioners in 2016, we're now the leading EHR and practice management platform in the wellness industry, trusted by tens of thousands of practitioners across 70+ countries.
In 2023, we expanded our whole-practice care offering through the acquisition of That Clean Life, bringing nutrition planning into our platform.
We're a remote-first team headquartered in Toronto, made up of curious, driven, and empathetic people building tools that help practitioners create sustainable, independent practices; and do the most meaningful work of their careers. While most of our work happens remotely, we come together regularly for off-sites and team events to stay connected and build together.
Position Summary

IT Analyst
to join our growing team.
In this role, you will provide technical support and system administration across our core technology stack, ensuring team members have secure, reliable access to the tools they need to serve practitioners worldwide. You'll be a key partner in maintaining our identity and access management systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to projects that strengthen our IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who balances technical expertise with excellent communication skills, thrives in a remote-first environment, and is passionate about enabling teams through technology.
Note:

: Administer Okta for user provisioning, deprovisioning, MFA policies, and SSO integrations; manage role-based access controls and ensure compliance with security policies - Endpoint Management

: Administer Slack workspaces including user management, channel governance, app integrations, and workflow automation; support team productivity through effective tool configuration - Project Contribution
: Collaborate on IT initiatives such as system integrations, automation improvements, software evaluations, and vendor management
What You Bring
- 2+ years of relevant experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in a SaaS or healthcare technology environment
- Proven ability to administer Google Workspace at scale, including user management, security settings, and third-party integrations
- Strong experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments, including troubleshooting, software deployment, and device management (Intune & Kandji experience preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and create knowledge bases, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides that enable self-service and support distributed teams
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams
- Analytical, curious, and adaptable – you seek solutions, not perfection
Bonus Points
- Hands-on experience with Okta (or similar IAM platforms) including user lifecycle management, SSO configuration, and MFA policies
- Experience with any of the following device management platforms: Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, Kandji/Iru, Jamf, NinjaOne RMM
