Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data automation testing, test and defect management, and cloud validation. This role requires proficiency in Unix, Databricks pipeline testing, TOSCA DI automation, and SQL scripting. The position is hybrid with no travel required and the shift is day.

    • Lead the testing efforts for various projects, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high-quality outcomes.
  • Oversee defect management processes, identifying and resolving issues efficiently to maintain project timelines.
  • Provide expertise in SparkSQL to optimize data queries and enhance performance in testing scenarios.
  • Utilize TOSCA DI Automation to streamline testing processes, reducing manual efforts and increasing accuracy.
  • Validate cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet specified requirements and function seamlessly in diverse environments.
  • Conduct BigData validation, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across large datasets.
  • Implement BI Validation techniques to verify the accuracy and reliability of business intelligence outputs.
  • Develop and execute SQL scripting to support testing activities and data validation efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of testing processes with overall project goals.
  • Monitor testing progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in testing methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all testing activities.
  • Contribute to the companies purpose by delivering high-quality solutions that impact society positively.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in Test and Defect Management, demonstrating ability to manage complex testing scenarios.
  • Have expertise in SparkSQL, enabling efficient data handling and query optimization.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in TOSCA DI Automation, showcasing ability to automate testing processes effectively.
  • Experience in Cloud Validation, ensuring solutions meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Skilled in BigData validation, capable of handling large datasets with precision.
  • Proficient in BI Validation, ensuring business intelligence outputs are accurate and reliable.
  • Strong SQL scripting skills, supporting testing and validation efforts with robust data manipulation capabilities.

Compensation:

  • Annual salary range: $84,000 to $95,000 CAD
  • Bonus eligibility based on performance
