Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Operator to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This is a full-time weekend shift position (Friday to Sunday). In this role, you will work in a team setting to deliver high-quality products that meet cost and performance targets. You will follow standard operating procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Shift Details
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours: 7am to 7pm
Key Responsibilities
Perform assigned work in compliance with quality standards and operating procedures.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets, health and safety standards, and on-time delivery goals.
Conduct routine calibrations, qualifications, and equipment setups to maintain optimal performance.
Manage time and equipment usage efficiently to achieve production objectives.
Promote teamwork across shifts and foster a positive work environment focused on quality and best practices.
Demonstrate professionalism through strong work habits, time management, productivity, and safety awareness.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in efficiency, profitability, material utilization, and tool usage.
Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and team regarding safety, quality, delivery, and cost issues.
Assist in updating work instructions, safety procedures, and quality documentation.
Support process development and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
Adhere to and recommend improvements for the 5S+1 program and contamination control protocols.
Qualifications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment (preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate leadership qualities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
