What's Your Role – Pharmacist HSAA
- Responsible for training and mentoring pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. Act as a team leader in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
- Maintaining the dispensary inventory level within the prescribed guidelines through accurate perpetual inventory records
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations
- Responsible for supervising ongoing follow-up and collection of third-party receivables
- Practice within federal, provincial, regulatory, and legal requirements, provincial Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, demonstrating professional integrity and acting to uphold a high level of professional standard of practice
- Perform professional services to the full scope of pharmacist practice as deemed eligible and appropriate for the patients
- Administer injections/immunizations as requested to maximize patient care
- Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription and OTC products to provide excellent customer service and maximize customer loyalty
Qualifications To Succeed
- Licensed Pharmacist in Province of interest
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team
- Commitment to professional standards and regulatory compliance
