Landscape Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking Landscape Labourers to join our team and grow our existing landscape construction crews. We are seeking motivated individuals who have a willingness to learn and are eager to advance their career. This role involves performing a variety of landscaping tasks, supporting construction projects, and ensuring the overall health and appearance of landscaped areas. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a passion for outdoor work and horticulture. Experience is an asset but not required. We believe in working efficient and use industry leading equipment to provide the highest quality work. We are willing to train and develop anyone who wants to join our team

Duties

• Operate machinery such as dump trucks, excavators, skid steers, backhoes, vacuum lifters, laser levels and power tools, etc. safely and efficiently
• Landscape maintenance including trimming, planting, mulching, horticulture identification, etc.
• Support construction activities related to hardscape projects, including paver installation, porcelain tile, armour stone walls, high rise hardscaping, etc.
• Install outdoor lighting systems and perform repairs as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience with horticulture, hardscape or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
• Ability to operate machinery such as excavators and power tools safely
• Familiarity with hand tools and general construction practices
• Physical ability to perform outdoor labor including lifting and digging for extended periods
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
