Pre-Press and Print Production Operator

Sixstream Signs is hiring for a creative, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry level Pre-Press and Print Production Operator. We are a local small business with big goals. You will be servicing both internal and external clients and working with a talented team of sign makers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete Pre-press processes and conduct thorough checks
  • Participate in print production and work hands on with variety of materials such has acrylics, vinyl and other sign materials
  • Operate wide format printers, vinyl plotters, and laminators
  • Apply various vinyl using different techniques to a variety of sign materials
  • Efficiently manage projects and tasks using project management software
  • Create detail oriented permit and various proof approval documents
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Assist in various operational tasks as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Basic skills in Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
  • Comfortable with computer applications – such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Exception attention to detail, efficiency, independence and organization
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute with accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in both team-based and independent work settings, managing multiple tasks and responding promptly to changing demands
  • Capable of standing for extended periods while engaging in sign production activities
