We're looking for a dedicated Labourer to join our Backframing Team. You will work alongside skilled Framers, support day-to-day site activities, and help deliver high-quality homes — all while maintaining a safe, organized, and positive work environment.

Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

You Will Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in framing, back framing, or construction labour
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Safety Certifications (Working at Heights, WHMIS, WSIB)
Exceptional Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Motivation to work hard and learn new techniques
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of back framing in residential homes
- Strap houses (1st, 2nd, and basement living areas)
- Construct drops, bulkheads, frost walls, basement bulk headers, and finished stairs
- Straighten studs and complete finished basements
- Accurately follow build sequences and working drawings
- Manage and organize materials on-site
- Maintain a daily clean and safe work environment
- Attend bi-weekly Toolbox Talks and follow all Health & Safety processes
- Contribute to a positive, Team-oriented workplace
Working Conditions
- Majority of time is spent on construction sites
- Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and priorities
- Work may involve exposure to weather, noise, dust, and high-risk activities
- PPE (hard hat & steel toes boots) is required at all times in field settings
- Physically able to lift, bend, and work in all weather conditions
- Ability to travel to different projects throughout the City of Ottawa
