About the Role

This is a key position on our production line, crucial for ensuring we meet our commitments to deliver service on time and with the quality our customers expect.

  • Work Hours: Up to 35-40 hours per week.
  • Availability: Flexible shift windows between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM (Monday through Saturday).

Core Responsibilities

  • Garment Handling: Performing essential tasks like checking in, assembling, folding, hanging, and pressing a variety of garments.
  • Specialized Operations: Operating production machinery, performing garment spotting (stain removal), and executing minor repairs or special labeling based on specific customer instructions.
  • Operational Excellence: Actively participating in morning meetings and continuous improvement initiatives ("getting lean") to optimize workflow.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Adhering strictly to safe work practices, correctly using all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean work area and machine maintenance schedule.

What We Look for in a Candidate

  • Essential Skills:
  • A curious mindset and exceptional attention to detail to actively seek process improvements.
  • Strong communication and friendly collaboration skills to work effectively with co-workers and accurately update customer accounts.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Current WHMIS certification.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Stamina and energy to stand for long periods and be active throughout the shift.
  • Capability to lift and move large, heavy loads of garments, often in a warm production environment.
  • Mindset & Attitude:
  • A super happy and energized demeanor, maintaining a proactive and caring approach toward colleagues and customers.
  • The ability to work efficiently and responsibly with minimal direct supervision.
