Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our residential service team. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of residential plumbing and drainage and preferably a minimum of 10 years in the residential plumbing service industry.

This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Journeyperson Plumber will work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality workmanship on various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools and soldering equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and prolong system lifespan.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues using basic math skills and schematic reading to identify root causes.
  • Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid journeyperson plumbing license or certification.
  • Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within construction or industrial environments.
  • Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC systems, welding, carpentry, and schematics reading.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and soldering equipment.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including climbing ladders or working in confined spaces.
