  • Develop and drive a government relations program at the federal and provincial levels.
  • Execute lobbying, advocacy, and issue management activities to enhance the company's position in the energy sector.
  • Build and manage relationships with key external resources to increase program efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and contribute value at an organizational level.
  • Lead engagement with relevant trade, industry, and business associations.
  • Support reconciliation efforts with Indigenous communities.
  • Monitor and analyze public policy developments affecting business interests.
  • Prepare strategic briefs and messaging for senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Proven success in developing and executing effective government relations and advocacy programs.
  • Experience in tracking and influencing policy issues pertinent to corporate interests.
  • Ability to manage relationships with third-party resources, such as consultants and industry associations.
  • Fluency in both French and English for effective communication across various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous reconciliation initiatives.
  • Experience in the energy sector or related areas is a plus.
