The Architect establishes and maintains enterprise and/or domain-level architecture through planning, design, execution, and operation. This includes developing and implementing the standards and practices necessary to realize and sustain the application technology stack in alignment with architectural plans. The Architect also provides expert consultation to inform both strategic and tactical technology decisions—covering areas such as web and app servers, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high availability of application clusters. The overarching goal is to cultivate a scalable, extensible, interoperable, and adaptable IT ecosystem that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to lead our ServiceNow and Moveworks platform. This role will provide technical leadership, own and enforce technical governance to ensure adherence to best practices, technically lead with a global team, engage with stakeholders, and oversee plaftorm management to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our ServiceNow and Moveworks solutions.
How you'll make an impact:
• Provide ServiceNow expert knowledge in Platform Strategy & Architecture, Governance Framework & Policy Enforcement, Solution Design & Quality Assurance, Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement, Platform Performance, Security & Risk Management
• Translate business requirements into system qualities that lead to repeatable and executable design strategies and patterns for tactical projects / initiatives in collaboration with project teams
• Identify and define the opportunities for integration, selecting the tools, specifying the shared data & code resources, defining the interfaces and data-flows, and monitoring the success of the integration for tactical projects / initiatives
• Develop, institute, and maintain the IT design methodology, development process methodology, technology standards, and best practices.
• Provide oversight to ensure compliance with architectural standards and practices through all aspects of planning, execution, and operation.
• Lead the evaluation of new technology targeted for possible integration into the existing IT environment.
• Develop, institute, and maintain the design and metadata repository for integrating all aspects of established architectural models.
• Survey external emerging developments, and evangelize new technologies, standards and methodologies.
• Provide expert guidance on tactical projects/initiatives
• Provide training, coaching and knowledge transfer to team members on more complex tasks
• General and administrative tasks
What you'll need (required):
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Natural Sciences & Mathematics or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in IT Required
• Preferred 5+ years of experience demonstrably solid performance in an architect role working with cross-functional teams (within IT and/or within the business) on enterprise-level or complex/novel system implementations

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives and communicate to various levels of audience or to explain complex or technical matters in a manner suitable for non-technical audiences
• Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization
• Expert knowledge in analysis, design, development, QA/QC, etc.
• Broad and deep technical knowledge – expertise in multiple aspects including hardware, software, applications, and systems engineering and QA/testing
• Expert in developing detailed architecture models, design, executable plans and documentation
• Knowledge of best practices related to IT governance, operations, and administration
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
The base pay range for this position is $ 125,000- $ 177,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience). Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
