Your role with us:

Reporting to the Consulting Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer is primarily focused on the performance of tubular systems, well components, and related equipment for challenging upstream applications by combining analytical and FEA modeling. The Project Engineer will be customer-facing and contribute to external consulting projects, internal technology, product development, and other initiatives – working at the extreme edge of what industry demands technically.

You will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Registered EIT or P.Eng. in the province of Alberta is required.
  • 2-6 years post-graduate experience working in a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles, a scientific curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring challenges and initiatives.
  • Experience and strong interest in mechanics and a natural mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in oil and gas is an asset.
  • Experience or interest in software development or programming (e.g. python or C#) is an asset.
  • Experience in a customer-centric environment is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
