POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Product Training - Home Solutions is responsible for leading all training, field operations, and retail excellence initiatives for LG's Home Appliance division. This role ensures that frontline teams, retail partners, and agency representatives are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to elevate brand presence, drive sell-through performance, and uphold LG's premium standards within our retail partners across the country.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Home Appliance Training & Field Operations

  • Oversee national training programs and day-to-day field execution for LG's Home Appliance portfolio, ensuring retail associates and field teams are fully equipped to represent the brand.

Develop & Optimize Training Strategy

  • Plan, design, and execute enhanced training frameworks that improve product advocacy, consumer education, and sell-out performance. Continuously evolve methods (digital, experiential, in-store) to increase impact.

Budget Management & Alignment

  • Own and manage training and field operations budgets. Ensure full alignment with internal stakeholders, finance teams, and external agency partners to track spend, maximize ROI, and maintain fiscal discipline.

Retail Merchandising Execution

  • Plan and oversee merchandising campaigns nationwide to ensure LG's in-store presence is premium, consistent, and compliant with brand guidelines.

In-Store & Agency Audits

  • Conduct regular field audits—nationally and regionally—to evaluate retail conditions, agency performance, merchandising accuracy, and execution quality.

Training Event Leadership

  • Organize, deliver, and oversee both virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and national product rollouts. Ensure content is engaging, accurate, and consistent across all channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Retail teams to ensure messaging, priorities, and promotional activities are clearly communicated and executed at the store level.

Field Reporting & Insights

  • Analyze training effectiveness, retail conditions, and field performance data. Provide leadership with insights and recommendations to improve execution and drive business results.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Manage ongoing relationships with external agencies, retail partners, and LG's internal business units to ensure alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement.

National Travel

  • Travel regularly for in-store visits, audits, training sessions, and partner engagements.

Content Creation & Enablement Tools

  • Oversee the development of training materials, digital content, and retail enablement tools that support both product launches and ongoing education.

Product Expertise & Advocacy

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for LG Home Appliances, ensuring field teams receive accurate, compelling product stories and competitive positioning.

Performance Measurement

  • Track KPIs related to sell-through, training engagement, merchandising quality, and agency effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.

Launch Excellence

  • Support major product launches with tailored retail training programs, activation plans, and field readiness checklists.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field preferred
  • Bilingual English/French skills are preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, managing external agencies, and directing national field operations with measurable success
  • Proven ability to design, deliver, and scale training programs across retail environments and digital platforms.  
  • Familiarity with LMS systems and modern learning methodologies preferred
  • Strong competence with performance dashboards, field insights, and using data to optimize training, merchandising, and execution strategies
  • Advanced skills with the Microsoft Office suite of products is required
