About the Role:

Reporting to the Cybersecurity Principal, you'll architect and validate security solutions for IT, OT, and cloud environments—ensuring every system is secure by design. You'll collaborate with technical and business teams, shape enterprise-wide security standards, and deliver innovative solutions that balance risk, compliance, and business priorities.

Your expertise will span identity and access management, network designs, Zero Trust, SASE, and emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection. You'll lead threat and risk focused architecture assessments, develop reference architectures, and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable guidance. If you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy solving tough security challenges, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact with a global leader.

What You Get to Do:

  • Design and validate security controls for IT, OT, and cloud environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for secure networks, applications, and infrastructure
  • Create innovative security solutions that balance risk, compliance, and business needs
  • Lead architecture and control reviews, including threat modeling, risk analysis, and vulnerability assessments
  • Recommend and oversee security controls throughout acquisition, development, and change management
  • Provide guidelines, reference architectures, and best practices for cybersecurity frameworks and policies
  • Support complex cybersecurity assessments and collaborate with technical teams to resolve challenges
  • Partner with development teams to define secure coding and design strategies
  • Establish and enforce system standards for stability, scalability, and resilience

What You Bring:

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical architecture, solution design, systems design, technical lead, or network design roles, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, cloud and IT/OT network environments. Must demonstrate a broad range of experience across multiple technical domains and possess deep understanding of core principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, NERC CIP, ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks, etc.)
  • Possess a deep understanding of the evolving industry threat landscape and associated risk factors, including emerging attack vectors, adversary tactics, and regulatory implications
  • Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise security architectures
  • Skilled in risk assessment, gap analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to business stakeholders
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and building relationships
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive security projects forward
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are considered assets
  • Background in regulated sectors such as energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure is an asset.

What We Offer:

  • A culture based on caring, integrity, agility, collaboration, and striving for excellence.
