Job Summary
Solda Pools is an industry-leading, award-winning, family-run swimming pool and landscape design-build company. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver and machine operator to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a dump truck, transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites, and supporting daily construction operations. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to safety, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The role will also include operating our excavators and skid steers to support our excavation division. A class A license would be a requirement
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as fill from pools, gravel, sand, and other construction supplies across job sites
- Skillfully operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, dozers, and water trucks to assist with site preparation, pool excavations and construction tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Assist with site grading, excavation, subgrade preparation, and other construction activities using a variety of construction equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate material delivery and equipment usage
- Maintain accurate logs of materials transported and equipment operation hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating dump trucks and heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, fork lifts etc
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Valid AZ license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and practices
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Pay: $34.00-$42.00 per hour
