Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Front Facing/Reception Staff member and become a vital part of creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for our members. In this energetic role, you'll be the backbone behind the scenes but also a friendly face to greet our clients. Your role will be to ensure the smooth operation of our studio/retail space. Your dedication and attention to detail will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. Our Wellness Club offers group yoga/fitness classes, healthy drinks, snacks and post-workout food, and also runs a wide variety of community events so your role as our Front of House will be dynamic and help to develop skills such as multi-tasking, customer service, marketing, food service skills, and more Health & Wellness plus a high quality experience for our members is the top priority so we are looking for individuals who share the same passion & lifestyle

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize ingredients, supplies, and equipment to support daily kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all areas, including storage, front of house drink stations & studio.
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Support kitchen staff when needed in the front of house area (taking orders, drink station, prep dining ware for events, etc.)
  • Ensure all kitchen tools, appliances, and surfaces are properly maintained and sanitized regularly
  • Follow safety protocols and health regulations to uphold a safe working environment for all team members
  • Shift into front-of-house roles with ease & ensure timely and efficient service to our clients
  • Assist in cleaning the studio space after studio classes and end of shift cleaning/laundry/tasks
  • Check members in for class, prep sauna space for members, ensure studio space is stocked & clean at all times
  • Aide in marketing & promotional efforts at events

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
  • Good physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items throughout shifts
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and support overall operations of the entire space
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and responsibilities
  • Prior experience in food service & reception is a plus but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively as part of a team
