What You'll Be Doing

As a member of CIBC's team, the Sr. Analyst, Process and Change Management supports operational excellence and continuous improvement across Retail Operations. In this role, you will assist in analyzing and evaluating existing business processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, cost savings, risk mitigation, and improved client experience. You will collaborate with Process SMEs and Technology teams to support the implementation of process enhancements, applying best practices and innovative solutions. You will contribute to change management activities, helping drive successful adoption of process improvements, and prepare reports and insights for management to inform decision-making. Additionally, you will help foster a culture of continuous improvement through ongoing evaluation and support of process initiatives. Please note, this is a 12 month contract opportunity.

How You'll Succeed

  • Process Evaluation - Assist in reviewing and analyzing business processes to identify efficiency opportunities and recommend improvements.

  • Collaboration - Work with Process SMEs, Technology, and business partners to support the implementation of process changes.

  • Change Support - Contribute to change management activities, including communication and training to ensure effective adoption of process enhancements.

  • Reporting & Insights - Prepare and analyze process data, track performance metrics, and create reports to support management decisions.

  • Continuous Improvement - Support ongoing process evaluation and improvement initiatives to help sustain operational effectiveness.

Who You Are

  • You have proven process improvement experience. Demonstrated experience in process analysis, business process improvement, and change management, ideally within financial services or consulting.

  • You can demonstrate experience with. Proficient with programming languages and modern analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Python, PowerApps, PowerBI, Tableau) and skilled in leveraging data for insights.

  • You have a degree in a quantitative field. Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is an asset.

  • You are a strategic problem solver. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to independently identify business challenges and recommend effective solutions.
