Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Physiotherapist for a newly-opened Pediatric Clinic located in Richmond Hill, ON. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other intervention techniques. You will monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly to achieve optimal results. You will also educate patients on ways to improve and maintain their health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills working with infants, toddlers and children ages 0-5 years
• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans with the 0-5 population
• Proficiency in up-to-date therapeutic modalities and approaches for working with a paediatric population in a play-based and trauma-informed capacity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with families
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in physiotherapy that apply both Provincially (Ontario) and Federally (Canada).
• Experience in treating a variety of paediatric genetic conditions, neurodevelopmental concerns, and neurodivergent populations
• Specialized experience working with infants and babies
• Bonus if you have language proficiency in another language
