As the successful candidate, you are a skilled individual that is passionate about your chosen career. In addition to troubleshooting process maintenance issues, you are innovative in preventative maintenance practices with an ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and priorities. As someone who understands the utmost importance of safety, you will also contribute to a healthy and respectful work environment.Qualifications:· Journeyman (Red Seal) Millwright Certification· Demonstrated commitment to safety as a priority· Strong background in heavy industry and/or construction· Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process is an asset as well as experience with welding procedures and equipment reliability· Excellent troubleshooting skills· Positive interpersonal and communication skills· Ability to work independently and in a team environment· High energy and initiative· Available to work day, afternoon, graveyard or weekend shiftsCompensation is based on the collective agreement hourly rate with a competitive benefits package.CommunityDeemed "BC's northern capital," Prince George is a lively city of 80,000 people situated in the heart of British Columbia.
