We are hiring for Pharmacy Interns for Flu Season, running from October to December 2025. Your primary role for this seasonal position will be to participate in flu/covid vaccination clinics.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience, apply lessons learned and gain the confidence and competence in a safe and supportive environment.  You will also have the opportunity to work in retail operations, to continue as a Save-On-Foods Pharmacy Intern which includes direct patient care such as OTC recommendations, supervised Rx counseling, addressing drug therapy problems, communicating with other healthcare professionals, prescription intake, data entry, preparation and dispensing.

You will be responsible for:

  • Registering patients for their vaccines.
  • Drug preparation, administration, and documentation of vaccines.
  • Providing pharmacy services while under the supervision of a full pharmacist.

You have:

  • UBC Pharmacy Student registration with the College of Pharmacists
  • Completed the appropriate training to administer injections and be certified to inject by the BC College of Pharmacists

Compensation Details:

The rate of pay offered for injection certified students during flu season is $ $35.00 per hour.
