Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Internal Audit Manager, based in Toronto, ON, with some flexibility to work from home. The Internal Audit Manager will plan, execute, and report on financial and operational audits to assess internal control systems and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Additional responsibilities include identifying risks, recommending improvements, and monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the bank operates with integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills to assess risk and interpret data effectively
- Strong knowledge in Finance, Accounting, and Operational Audits
- Experience with evaluating and implementing effective Internal Controls
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- CIA, or related professional certification is preferred
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Experience in financial services or banking is considered an asset
