Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
  • Take dental X-rays as needed.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient records efficiently.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
  • Manage medical records and documentation review with precision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate dental coding.

Experience

  • A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program is required.
  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, minimum of 1 year.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication with the dental team and patients.
  • Familiarity with Cleardent or similar dental software is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for creating a positive patient experience.

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
