$30-$35/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Robot Programmer to join a leading automation company based in Cambridge. You will be joining the nuclear service team at a customer site supporting projects related to nuclear reactor tooling. Responsibilities will mainly be around troubleshooting, integrating robots with peripheral devices (sensors, actuators, and vision systems) and commissioning. You will also be responsible for modifying programs and documenting processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 6 months of experience with FANUC robots
• Experience with changing points, teaching points, changing paths etc. for robots
• Automation background
• Experience with documentation (creating shift logs, etc)
• Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule (7am-5pm, 5pm-am)
• Good communicator with the ability to be customer facing

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Siemens S7 PLC experience
