The Role
We are seeking field and hybrid based Environmental Scientist to support stack and stationary engine emissions testing, ambient air monitoring, leak detection and repair (LDAR) and optical gas imaging (OGI) projects at industrial and energy-sector facilities. This role involves hands-on field work, data collection, and direct interaction with teammates, clients, regulators and laboratories. Opportunities are available at the junior and senior levels, with clear cross-training and career paths across multiple service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and support air emission, ambient and fugitive testing programs, including equipment setup, sampling, and breakdown
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain testing and monitoring equipment
- Collect, document, and upload field data and reports
- Communicate results with project managers, clients, and regulatory personnel
- Follow all safety, DOT, and quality procedures
Preferred Qualifications
2-year diploma or related technical/environmental/instrumentation experience
Experience using air testing and monitoring equipment such as continuous extractive and dilution instruments, manual sampling methods, FTIR, and IR cameras
Willingness to travel overnight and work outdoors at industrial sites
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability and willingness to work at elevated heights
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Valid driver's license
