About the Role

We are looking for a local bilingual (Chinese/English) assistant to support a small, health-focused startup.

This role is designed to reduce communication friction and support smooth, human-centered interactions.

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years living locally (Canada), familiar with local culture and communication norms
  • Fluent in Chinese and English (clear, reliable English)
  • Genuine interest in health-related projects
  • Enjoys communicating with people, especially face-to-face
  • Reliable, responsive, and comfortable with early-stage environments

What You'll Help With

  • In-person communication and language support
  • Bilingual email and message drafting / polishing
  • Light information organization and follow-ups
  • Supporting the founder with communication details

Compensation & Structure

  • $25-30/hour, or phase-based if preferred
  • Contract-based
  • No long-term guarantee, but continuation possible if fit is strong
