Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves educating children in a classroom setting, implementing engaging activities, and supporting their developmental needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning of all children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional growth.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Experience

  • Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French is highly desirable.
  • Strong writing skills for documentation purposes are essential.
  • A deep understanding of child development principles and classroom management techniques is required.
