The Associate will play a key role in enhancing customer experience, promoting products, and supporting overall business growth through effective sales strategies and excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers through inside and outside sales efforts to promote products and services
  • Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Assist in merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays
  • Utilize POS systems for transactions including cash handling and sales processing
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
  • Negotiate deals with customers to close high-end sales and maximize revenue
  • Support renovation or construction projects as needed, including sketching or CAD work when applicable
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate product demos to showcase new offerings

Skills

  • Proven experience in retail sales, inside sales, or outside sales environments
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD, or related design software is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for transactions
  • Familiarity with merchandising, product demos, and high-end sales techniques
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a retail or showroom setting
  • Customer service expertise with a focus on building long-term client relationships
  • Experience with renovation, construction projects, or account management is desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and independence
