Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related construction skills. Responsibilities

  • Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level, and durable finishes.
  • Install rebar and formwork according to schematics and blueprints to prepare for concrete pouring.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as mixers, pumps, or other relevant equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Perform masonry tasks including caulking, restoration work, and flooring installation as needed.
  • Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and carpentry tasks related to project requirements.
  • Conduct finishing touches such as smoothing surfaces, sealing joints with caulking, and applying surface treatments.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, welding, scaffolding, and the operation of power tools.

Experience

  • Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles.
  • Mechanical knowledge including the operation of heavy equipment and power tools.
  • Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry work, and blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with renovation projects involving restoration or flooring installation.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various phases of construction projects.
  • Knowledge of schematics and welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience with carpentry or general construction enhances suitability for this role.
