Join our client tech team as the Director of DevOps and be a key player in their dynamic, rapidly growing team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will guide a talented DevOps team through various projects focused on automating development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a DevOps team, driving excellence in project management, tool selection, mentoring, and developing cutting-edge DevOps practices.
  • Manage complex tasks with minimal guidance, ensuring critical infrastructure components' reliability, adaptability, and resilience.

Challenges You'll Tackle:

  • Deliver high-quality products by understanding and addressing DevOps needs related to AWS and Azure.
  • Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to implement specialized tools, distribution pipelines, and processes for continuous integration and delivery.

Your Impact:

  • Ensure the reliability, adaptability, and resilience of crucial infrastructure components, taking responsibility for servers, databases, hosted services, load balancers, and more.
  • Actively participate in incident escalation and rapid resolution, constantly improving and fine-tuning systems to guarantee service availability.

Sharing Knowledge and Inspiring Growth:

  • Actively contribute to our internal peer learning platform, sharing your expertise in various technologies with a class every six months to foster continuous learning.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new DevOps team members and establish schedules and priorities for their success.

Contributing to Talent Acquisition:

  • Play a pivotal role in HR recruitment activities, identifying and attracting top-tier DevOps talent to join our innovative team.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful DevOps team management experience.
  • Proven track record with at least 3 years in managing Linux environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Debian, or Ubuntu).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in service-oriented architectures, software development life cycle, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
  • Proficiency in Git, automation concepts, and tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledgeable about cloud and container concepts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, a collaborative team spirit, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
