What You'll Do (Your Impact)

Craft With Care

  • Prepare all espresso beverages, signature drinks, and teas with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Follow drink recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines that reflect the high standards of Chios.
  • Heat and serve bakery and pastry products as per customer order.

Deliver Outstanding Hospitality

  • Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence, and a professional yet friendly attitude.
  • Offer recommendations, share product knowledge, and ensure every interaction feels genuine and memorable.

Maintain an Exceptional Workspace

  • Keep all barista stations clean, stocked, organized, and fully prepped for smooth service.
  • Restock ingredients, syrups, cups, tools, and equipment as needed throughout the shift.

Support Daily Operations

  • Assist with dishwashing during slower periods or as required.
  • Unload deliveries, rotate stock, and store products safely and correctly.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness throughout the café.

Be a Strong Team Player

  • Work collaboratively with all Chios team members to maintain efficient café flow.
  • Step in to support other areas when needed, especially during busy periods.

What You Bring

  • Previous barista experience is a must.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and measurements accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism are essential.
  • Food Handler Certificate is a big asset.
  • Knowledge of POS is a big asset.
