Are you a fashion-forward professional looking for an exciting career in Optics? Vision Clinic, the largest retail optical in the Niagara Region with locations in Niagara & Hamilton is actively seeking new members to join our team as a Certified Optometric Assistant.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers with choosing frames/fashionable eye wear
- Processing payments, insurance payments and OHIP
Perform general reception and office duties
Greet customers in a professional, courteous and attentive manner
- Answer the phone
- Book appointments for patients
- Perform pretest exams
Take care of invoicing and collections
Provides support for optical purchases, fittings, and adjustments
- Discusses lens and frame selection with patients
- Verifies all measurements for glasses and contact lens orders
- Provides follow up with patients regarding the fit and satisfaction of their new purchases. Trouble shoot issues with new prescription orders when required
- Instructs patients on contact lens insertion and removal
Requirements:
- Certified Optometric Assistant (experience preferred)
We offer competitive wages plus commissions.
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: Willing to work between 2 locations.
