Role Description

This is a part time on-site role located in Pickering, ON for a Kitchen Helper/Server. The Kitchen Helper/Server will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, cooking duties, and managing food & beverage operations. Additionally, this role includes serving customers, taking orders, and providing excellent customer service. Tasks also involve cleaning kitchen areas and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

What You'll Do:

Greet and serve customers with a friendly attitude

Answer phone calls and take orders (in-person and by phone)

Assist with food preparation and plating

Handle transactions accurately at the cash register

Keep the dining and kitchen areas clean and organized

Wash dishes and assist with closing tasks as needed

Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth service

What We're Looking For:

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must live nearby or have reliable transportation

Punctual, dependable, and eager to learn

Team player with a positive attitude

Basic math and multitasking skills

Food service experience is an asset but not required — we're happy to train the right person
