This is a seasonal position beginning in mid-April until end of December.

General Requirements:

  • · Previous experience in landscaping building, maintenance and/or general construction
  • · Manual dexterity and proficiency in working with hand tools
  • · Willing to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
  • · Ability to perform physically demanding working, including repeated heavy lifting
  • · Valid "G" Driver's license and access to dependable transportation with the ability to report to flexible work schedules
  • · Ability to work within a positive and dynamic team environment; strong interpersonal skills
  • · Self-motivated and customer service oriented
  • · Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and follow all safety precautions
  • · Willingness and motivation to learn
  • · Ability to work as a member of a team
  • · Previous health and safety training is considered an asset (Working at Heights, WHMIS, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Landscape Industry Certification (e.g., Landscape Industry Certified Technician) is a plus.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labour.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (preferred)
