EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a Master's, bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As part of our team, you will:

  • Support the Nokia Developer Portal ( )
  • Develop features using Python/Django
  • Code, test, and debug new and existing features of the developer portal
  • Take ownership of writing effective, scalable code
  • Work closely with other developers and participate in portal-related discussions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with an excellent team of engineers

Key Skills And Experience
Your skills and experience

  • Strong programming skills in Python (Experience with Django Framework preferred)
  • Some Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented software design concepts.
  • Familiarity with Unix (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).

It would be nice if you also had
:

  • Experience with Git version control system and/or micro-services build architecture (Gradle).
  • Strong problem resolution skills: the ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of agile software design and test methodologies.
