Process Engineering Specialist
to join our team in Waterloo
What You'll Do
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for standard products.
- Create clear process documentation, workflows, and instructions.
- Prototype, test, and release new or updated process steps.
- Lead cost‑saving and capacity‑improvement initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Guide and support junior engineers and interns.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on materials and equipment.
- Support process scale‑up and technology transfer activities.
What You Need
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills — required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across teams — required.
- Experience developing or improving technical processes — required.
- Ability to interpret data for decision‑making — required.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience — required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field — required.
- Background in semiconductor manufacturing — advantage.
- Experience with materials science, physics, or mechatronics — advantage.

Salary Range
$62,900.00-$83,900.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
