What you will do:

You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to develop and execute a robust User Acceptance Test (UAT) Framework across the insurance business including Underwriting, Claims, and Finance, with a focus on the Guidewire suite of applications. Responsibilities encompass planning and execution UAT, Post Deployment Testing, and providing production support to ensure optimal solutions, quality and performance. You will drive system and process changes, managing your deliverable against set timelines for successful project and maintenance release deployments.

  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Post Acceptance Testing (PAT), while ensuring testing process, methodologies, and tools are applied appropriately and evidence captured.
  • Create and built test strategies, plans, estimates, and robust test scenarios that represent true end-to-end business processes.
  • Provide test artifact walkthroughs to Business and IT stakeholders, for review, feedback, and sign off.
  • Collaborate with Business and IT to determine whether test strategies meet the appropriate risk thresholds.
  • Actively participate in the post implementation support and review phase.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders' various departments including IT, Underwriting, Claims, Finance to understand business needs.
  • Partner with IT to analyze requirements to determine system potential, down and upstream system impact, and relative impact to business.
  • Inspire stakeholders in the art of the possible and utilize best practices to influence optimal solution design.
  • Assist in communicating to management, team leaders and trainers on any new or changed functionality of a system.
  • Provide technical support for clients via phone and e-mail to accurately record a detailed description of known issue, and work with cross functional teams to address in timely manner

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. Who you are:

  • Post secondary education in Business or Information Technology
  • CIP, CRM, CBAP, CAPM, PMP preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience in P&C Insurance
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong technical acumen and demonstrated experience in data gathering, data analysis, data backfilling, and the creation of conceptual and logical models
  • Bilingual (French and English) is nice to have
