We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Cashier to join our team at Sofra Kabab. The cashier is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with a welcoming and professional attitude
  • Take customer orders accurately (in person and by phone)
  • Operate the POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
  • Maintain a clean and organized counter area
  • Assist in packing take-out orders
  • Communicate with the kitchen to ensure efficient service
  • Answer customer questions regarding the menu and promotions
  • Follow hygiene and safety standards at all times

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team

Language Requirements

The cashier must speak English and French.

Speaking Arabic is preferred and considered a strong asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.10-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
