They're looking for a Water Resources Engineer to join their team in Alberta, Canada.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead stormwater and urban drainage projects for public and private clients.
  • Design stormwater ponds, wetlands, green/grey infrastructure, and erosion controls.
  • Run advanced hydrologic and hydraulic models (PCSWMM and similar tools).
  • Support river engineering and environmental assessments.
  • Prepare cost estimates, tender packages, and technical reports.
  • Provide construction support and manage contracts.
  • Handle budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams across engineering and natural sciences.
  • Collect and analyze field data, including site visits and surveys.
  • Mentor junior team members and assist with proposals.
  • Coordinate with regulators for approvals.Travel within Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan as needed.
  • Keep safety a top priority.
What You'll Bring:
  • Degree in Water Resources, Environmental, or Civil Engineering (Master's is a bonus).
  • 5+ years in water resources engineering, especially urban stormwater.
  • P.Eng. or P.L.Eng. designation (or working toward it) with APEGA.
  • Strong skills in stormwater modeling software (PCSWMM, EPA SWMM, MIKE+, InfoWorks ICM).
  • Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D.
  • Knowledge of regulations and legislation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for writing and presenting.
  • Extra credit for Python, R, or VBA skills for data analysis and automation.
