As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be the primary link between A.R. Thomson Group Inc. and our customers. Your mission is to deliver value through technical expertise and relationship building.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow your assigned territory through strategic planning and execution.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects; drive new business development.
  • Present and promote the company's extensive sealing product lines, positioning yourself as a trusted consultant.
  • Develop Customer Action Plans (CAPs) for target accounts, outlining product strategy, sales cycle, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and account managers to ensure full product representation.
  • Communicate customer needs to internal teams and work closely with inside sales and product specialists.
  • Provide product training and demonstrations to customers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in industrial sales, ideally within OEM/MRO sectors. Experience in Pulp & Paper, Mining, or Process Industries is an asset.
  • Comfortable with approximately 70-75% day travel and 25-30% overnight travel within the territory.
  • Ability to sell on value, troubleshoot, and provide solutions using strong mechanical insight.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Very strong communication, negotiation, and territory management skills.
  • CRM experience is an asset.
  • Preference for candidates with a post-secondary technical designation or university degree (CET, Mechanical Engineering, Millwright, or similar).
  • Preferred experience with fluid sealing, instrumentation valves, and fittings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,500.00-$110,000.00 per year
