We are currently looking to fill the position for an Intermediate Architectural Technologist that will join and complement our team.
N53 Architecture is a multi-faceted firm that takes a practical approach to good design. We are committed to enable the successful candidate to acquire the necessary skills to become more experienced in the expanding role of an intermediate to senior technologist. Our goal is to mentor the candidate in the effort of building confidence by providing a nurturing environment that is free of "office politics". We aspire to provide guidance and supervision from senior level staff, that will enable the candidate to reach the goal of becoming a senior level technologist.
The role offers a diverse and stimulating range of responsibilities, with the expectation that the successful candidate will grow into a project leadership position. You will be involved in every phase of the project lifecycle, from initial concept development to construction completion.
Qualifications
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Diploma in Architectural Technology
- Minimum 3 years of Canadian post-graduate experience
- Experience in the production of Design and Construction Documents utilizing Revit software and Autocad
- Experience working on a variety of building types
- Knowledge of the current Building Code
- Team player who cooperatively assists the team and provides a high quality client service
Skill Sets
- Proficient with Autocad, Revit and SketchUp.
- Ability to document small to medium sized projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to predict and schedule time lines accurately
- Ability to work well within a team and reliability as a team member
- Effective communication with clients, consultants & suppliers
- Understanding of the Alberta Building Code and Municipal Bylaws
- Knowledge and willingness to undertake Specification Writing
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Organizational skills in preparation for meetings and site visits
- Addressing challenges through problem identification and resolution.
- Ability to take action and achieve results
- Travel as required
- Strong communication proficiency and strong command of written and spoken English
- Willingness to learn and grow in the position with the goal of becoming a leader within the firm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
